Ruth Goodwin
Kent and Ruth Goodwin were introduced to birdwatching at
Inglewood Bird Sanctuary in Calgary in the l970’s. In 1982 they
moved to the East Kootenay and continued to develop their natural
history skills as members of the Rocky Mountain Naturalists Club and
Kimberley Nature Park Society. Ruth, particularly, has been involved in
developing bird checklists, participating in bird surveys, and leading
outings. Much time is spent in one of their favourite places, the
Kimberley Nature Park. They enjoy sharing this great municipal park
with others!
