Ben Mitchell-Banks has 31 years of natural resource management experience with the provincial and federal governments (British Columbia and Canada). Ben has worked in many locations throughout the Province of BC for BC’s Ministry of Environment and the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans before joining the BC Oil and Gas Commission (OGC) in 2001. Ben retired from public service in the spring of 2011 and has been providing environmental consulting services since that time. Since 2015 Ben and the Lake Windermere Rod and Gun Club have been working to restore kokanee salmon to their historical spawning grounds in Abel Creek.
