Joseph Szujker has built his first bow at the age of 8. When he first competed in Open World Cup event he met a Master horseback archer Kassai Lajos. He became his official translator for the 4 day intense training that held some of the best mounted archers in North America. The instant connection with the Master led him to Kassai Valley in Hungary, where he participated in the meeting of the World Federation of Equestrian Archery as an official translator. The journey since then has been the one of healing and self-discovery. He remains a passionate student of this intuitive and dynamic sport where emotions, body, mind and spirit are refined.
