Kalista has a background in Renewable Resource Management, Permaculture, and Environmental Education. She has been working in the valley in the field of environmental science, education, and sustainability advocacy since 2007, and has been building and improving an urban permaculture-based homestead in Invermere since 2011. Kalista has a passion for the outdoors, gardening, health and fitness, traditional skills, and sharing knowledge.
