Laura lives and breathes mountains, from climbing, biking, and skiing to her work with mountain flora and fauna. She has worked for Parks Canada for 6 years monitoring everything from wildflowers and white-bark pine to white-tailed deer. Currently her research focuses on mountain goats and their excursions to mineral licks every spring. Laura’s research takes place in Yoho National Park where mountain goats can be seen along the Trans-Canada Highway eating dirt at day and at night.
