Pat is an award winning photographer and film maker whose photos have appeared in a range of magazines such as Equinox, GEO, National Geographic and Outside. Pat has given photo workshops in diverse locations, from skiing in the Purcell Wilderness (Ptarmigan Tours Ski Operator) to the backcountry of the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park (Thompson Rivers University) to photographing breaching orcas onboard Island Roamer in Johnstone Strait (Emily Carr College), photographing grizzlies in The Great Bear Rainforest with Mothership Adventures, and skiers in the Coast Range near Whistler, B.C. (Whistler Centre for the Arts). Most of them feature critiquing of images on location, the quickest way to improve one’s skills and understanding the basics of photography.
Pat Morrow is based in Wilmer, B.C. He has shot photographic assignments and led mountaineering expeditions to all seven continents, averaging six months a year for his entire career.
