Richard works for the Nature Conservancy of Canada as the Program Director for the Canadian Rockies based out of Invermere BC. Richard became interested in pursuing a career in wildlife at an early age while exploring the outdoors near Golden BC, and has lived and worked as a Registered Professional Biologist in the region since. He started as a student biologist with the Columbia Basin Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program where he became exposed to a wide variety of ecological-based projects throughout the Columbia Basin. Richard completed his Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology at the University of Northern BC, followed by a Master’s of Science in Environmental Science at Thompson Rivers University. Since that first job it seems that Richards’ life and career have continued to be focused on wildlife habitat management and conservation throughout BC." string(6) "Leader" string(98) "https://www.wingsovertherockies.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Richard_Klafki_at_Peace_Image-3.jpg"
