Rachel Darvill will be leading the bird walk. Rachel is a registered professional biologist who developed and currently coordinates the 5-year Upper Columbia Swallow Habitat Enhancement Program and Community Invasive Plant Program. She also developed and managed the hugely successful Columbia Wetlands Waterbird Survey for Wildsight.
Sanne van der Ros will be leading nature games and activities at the Wildsight Birding Breakfast. Sanne has worked as an environmental, outdoor educator for over two decades for Wildsight, Columbia Basin Environmental Education Network (CBEEN), public and private schools, and Parks Canada. She enjoys facilitating hands-on learning experiences for students of all ages. Her interest in this work stems from a desire to inspire others to look deeper, wonder more, and notice the natural world with new eyes.
