Kathleen Mpulubusi has a lifelong passion and love of nature and the environment. As a child she was particularly fascinated by wildflowers and landscapes, curious about the connections between the land and ecosystems. She has a BSc in Physical Geography and Botany where she studied the geology and natural history of the Columbia Valley. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of nature and advocating for the protection of natural spaces. She currently leads nature and plant walks in the Edmonton area with the Edmonton Native Plant Society. She is also a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy. (ANFT)
